Focused support for the decisions that are genuinely hard.

Coaching and review exists for specific difficult decisions, not as an ongoing outsourcing arrangement. The scope is the point of the product, so it is worth stating precisely.

What it covers

  • Workflow failures. The workflow produces something wrong and you cannot locate which stage caused it.
  • Hard allocation decisions. Whether a particular judgment can be delegated to AI at all, and what the accountability consequence is if it is.
  • Quality review. Whether an output actually meets the standard you set, reviewed against your own stated criteria.
  • Standards translation. Turning professional judgment into an operable check and its quality gates: Stage 6, Govern, where most self-built workflows go wrong.
  • Claim substantiation. Whether a claim you want to make is supported by the evidence you actually hold.
  • Escalation design. Setting the stop conditions for a workflow in a context with real consequences.

What it does not cover

  • Producing your output. We review, question and advise. We do not write, edit or build the deliverable.
  • Unlimited access. Engagements are scoped in advance with a defined number of sessions and a defined scope.
  • Ongoing operational support. If you need someone in the workflow permanently, the workflow is not finished — that is a design problem, not a coaching one.
  • Regulated advice. Legal, medical, financial and compliance questions go to qualified professionals.
  • Guaranteeing acceptance. By a publisher, a platform, a client, a board or an assessor. Their judgment is theirs.

Why bounded is the right design

Unbounded support quietly converts a capability product into a dependency. If the honest answer to "can you operate this without us" is no, then we have sold you a service and called it capability. The boundary is what makes the claim true.

Fit

When coaching is the wrong answer.

You have no workflow yet

Coaching improves a workflow that exists. If there is nothing to review, start with a workflow pack or a workshop.

The problem is capacity

If the real issue is that there is more work than time, a coaching engagement will not fix it and we will say so at the enquiry stage rather than after invoicing.

You want the work done

Legitimate need, wrong company. A good freelance specialist will serve you better and we will happily say that.

What an engagement typically looks like

A scoped engagement is agreed in writing before it starts: the specific decision or review in question, a defined number of sessions, and what you leave with: usually a documented decision, a revised workflow step, or a written review against your own stated criteria. Format and fees are confirmed in the scoped proposal for your engagement.

Enquire

Describe the decision you are stuck on.

Scope is agreed before anything starts, in writing, including the number of sessions and what is out of scope.

Confidentiality

Material you share for review stays yours and stays confidential. We do not use client work as a teaching example, a case study or a marketing artefact without written consent, and anonymisation is the default even then.
