Intellectual property — yours

Everything you bring and everything you build stays yours:

• Your knowledge, expertise, source materials and existing frameworks.
• The workflow, operating procedure or system you design during a programme.
• The outputs you produce using it — manuscripts, frameworks, reports, deliverables.
• Your client information and project data.

None of this becomes Edney Learn product intellectual property. A customer-specific workflow is customer-owned unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.

Intellectual property — ours

The methodology itself remains ours: the workflow design method, the diagnostic instrument and its constructs, the ARCHITECT knowledge recovery and codification standard, the assessment model, reference workflows, course structures and workflow packs. ARCHITECT is owned and governed by Edney Learn as a shared standard; it is not a separate licensable product.

Participation grants you a licence to use these on your own material for your own professional purposes. It does not grant a right to deliver, teach, resell or sub-license them to others. Institutional delivery rights are a separate licence.

Consent for any use of your work

We will not publish, quote, screenshot, teach from or otherwise use your material, your outputs or your identity as a product example, case study or testimonial unless you have given written consent for that specific use.

Publication is technically blocked in our content system unless two things are recorded: your consent, and confirmation that publication does not disclose material you own, license from a third party, or must keep confidential. Anonymisation is the default even where consent is given, unless you ask to be named.

Consent given for one use is not consent for another. Consent can be withdrawn.

What our products do not do

Stated here because it is part of the product, not the small print:

• We do not produce your professional output for you. You retain the capability; that is the point.
• We do not guarantee commercial success, publication, acceptance by any platform, quality outcomes, or time savings.
• We do not replace independent professional review. Our workflows are designed to identify where it remains valuable.
• We do not provide legal, medical, financial, compliance or other regulated advice, and our workflows escalate such matters to qualified professionals.
• Coaching and review is deliberately bounded in scope and session count, agreed in writing before it starts.

Your responsibilities

• Intellectual property, permissions and rights clearance for material you bring or produce.
• Final professional decisions, acceptance of outputs, and accountability for what you publish or submit.
• Compliance with any platform, employer, client or regulatory requirements that apply to your work.
• Not bringing confidential third-party material into a programme without the appropriate permissions.

Statements made on this site about Edney Learn's own use of its method are internal method evidence or product-generation evidence, and are not presented as proof of customer outcomes. The full position is on the evidence page. If you find a page that breaks this, it is a defect — please tell us.
