Build the evidence now. The credential is Future.
Capturing evidence while you operate a workflow is something you can do today: a documented record of your workflow running, its artefacts, decisions and checks. The microcredential that would one day assess that evidence is Future: no enrolment, no award, no verification, and none until the diagnostic and assessment architecture are evidence-supported. This page explains both.
What "Future" means on this page
Nothing here can be bought, enrolled in or earned. Capturing evidence while you operate a workflow is available today, but evidence capture does not itself establish assessed capability, and no credential is issued from it.
What it would assess
When it exists, it would examine not recall and not participation, but whether you can operate an AI-augmented workflow to a professional standard, and whether you can show it.
- Artefacts. The actual outputs the workflow produced, judged against the standard you defined for them.
- Workflow operation. Evidence that the documented workflow was genuinely run, not described.
- Human judgment. Where you exercised professional judgment, what you decided and why.
- AI contribution. What the model did, allocated deliberately and documented honestly.
- Validation decisions. What you checked, what failed, and what you did about it. Failures found and corrected count for more than a clean run.
- Reflection. Where the workflow is weak, and what the next redesign cycle should address.
The evidence portfolio
The portfolio is the thing that has value independent of the credential. It is a documented record of your workflow operating: the artefacts, the decisions, the validations and the standard applied. It is what you show a client, an employer or a procurement process when they ask how you use AI in professional work.
Your benchmark baseline is the first item in it. Everything after that shows movement from a dated starting point rather than an assertion of current competence.
What this credential does not imply
It is not professional licensure. It does not confer a regulated status, does not imply universal competence, and does not certify you in any domain beyond the workflow and context assessed.
It is not externally accredited and does not currently map to any national or sector qualifications framework. If that changes, it will be stated here with the detail attached.
Scope would be written on it
Any credential we eventually issue would name the role, the workflow, the output type and the context assessed. A credential without a stated scope is an invitation to over-read it.
Evidence classification
Where microcredential evidence sits.
Assessment evidence is its own class, with its own permitted uses. This matters because it is the class most easily over-read.

How it would work — when it exists
The intended design is that a credential would sit after a course, a workshop or an integrated pathway, and could not be taken standalone: the evidence would be generated by operating a workflow you built. It is not an automatic next step after any purchase, and it is not available now.
Why this is Future
Microcredentials will not be released until the diagnostic and assessment architecture are evidence-supported and defensible authentic-performance assessment is in place. A developmental self-report profile may supply context, but it must not determine any credential award. Until that standard exists, there is nothing here to enrol in.
